Question A few questions

Okay, so I have an '87 base model RX7 I picked up last fall, and starting this spring I'm going to start doing a lot of work on it. First off, I'm going to have the engine rebuilt by Pineapple Racing, as well as the transmission, and I'm going to have it bridge ported.

Once I have the engine rebuilt and running good, I'd like to start doing some mods on it, such as exhaust, obviously I am going to need a standalone, and I'd like to set up a nitrous system. I am pretty set on a Racing Beat 3" full exhaust, but as for the nitrous, I'm not real sure about. I don't want to spend a ton of money on that, but it's something that I'd like to do. What do I need to run a nitrous system, and where would be some places where I could get what I need for it? What would be the best standalone for me, and where could I find one?

Also, I would like to find a new, full interior kit, that has everything including dash, door panels, carpet, center console, and the plastic trim pieces in the back like strut tower caps pieces and the compartment box lids, all in black. I have tried looking everywhere for a kit but cant find one, and I don't want a shitty one from a junkyard car.

Thanks in advance,
Nick

No such thing as a "full interior kit".
Most- if not all- of the parts are still available direct from Mazda but only as individual pieces, not a kit.

When I said 'kit' I wasn't honostly expecting a little bundle deal with an 87 RX7 interior... I was just wondering if some place sold all of the parts of the interior I could buy. I have seen people tear out the interior in FD's all the time and replace it with a new interior, and I was wondering if I could get one for an FC.
Thanks for the info though.

Said it before gonna say it again. The 2nd gen forum is filled with trolls and newbs and idiots, there occasionally is some good stuff, but pretty rare. Might try posting in the NW regional section. Tends to be a little more constructive and people are more welcoming.

Your best friend is the junk yard for large interior bits (dashes, consoles, glove boxes, storage bins, clusters.)
Check some of this out. Carbon Fiber is tastay!

You could try painting. A Girl did it on here and it looked pretty clean.

You sound like you want to go ***** to the walls with your build, You should talk with 'Rob' at pineapple racing, he could give you an idea what your getting into with the motor build.

Good luck! And don't be discouraged by the negativity on the forums.

Okay so I've pretty much figured the interior part out, found enough parts to piece together and make it work good.
What about a standalone and N2 system? thanks
