All of these pics are after my new paint. Total for paint work and body work was $2400. Most of the $$ was paint, but my car was in a minor fender bender and broken into in Feb.

I love the car, and the quality of the paint is fantastic, but I dont like the color. it looks too........ everyday, too....... common.

I hope the computer screen doesnt do the real color justice, cause that paint job is really good.

You dont like red? thats understandable.... some dont

Or do you not like sunrise red...

That new paint is the factory paint code for the 86-88 FC (sunrise red)

I was considering getting a red w/ a small amount of orange color in it, but any change from stock adds at least $1000 to the final bill. I like red, and sunrise red is a pretty standard red.

I love the new paint job!

SWEET! I love the paint job! How much was it?

Also, I am wondering if you have any problem with your engine/trans/cooling etc. I am in the process of getting a 7 and I want to know how you guys like your 7 and if they give you problems.

telus, about $2400 w/ bodywork

I have had a few problems but nothing major. If you cant afford to put any $$ into maintence, forget about an FC.

boost, mykl, thanks!

i love it too

The paint job is really nice, I am in the process of restoring mine, and the paint is comming next. I can't wait to get it painted. Nice TII. Question though, your trim was it black or red originally?

Right, UniqueTII.

The car was factory everything before the paintjob. If you look closely, you can see 2 little notches in the front bumper. previous owner said the last guy did that for fog lights he thinks. I dont know why someone would do it, but it doesnt look bad! Gets rid of a bit of the "boxy" front, which the 89+ also improved on
