We still have our '89 TII we purchased new, pristine condition, and it is a summer only weekend car. Hasn't seen the rain since 1991 and still has everything OE, including the front air dam, but probably only worth $5K if I'm lucky. Rather keep the car than give it away, and even the 1G 7's can't fetch much money unless, once again, the right person happens along.
actually the early 1st gens have been doing rather well, the car needs to be ORIGINAL and have papers but a good low mileage car can bring over 6k

Hey PISTONS; you got some beautiful FCs there.

Here was a thread I had going on the value of 10AEs recently:
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/opinions-welcome-how-collectible-88-10th-ae-959907/

Check out the 10AE in there; its mint.

I love my gsl se and they are cheap price wise... I will say if you never had one buy one you won't regret it.

Again I think I will be asking a fair price for the ae $6500 obo, since the only thing I removed was the exhaust and mine is as clean as that one in the thread with no rust...

Yes i own one. I never said they where cheap. I said most people that bought them where cheap. Most people get a fc because thats what they can afford. Also if you compare the parts you buy to let's say fd parts yes a fc is cheap. All I'm saying is a fc is just one of those cars that you will most likey never get your money back on like some other cars.

good and bad points to the US having cheap as hell rotors. NZ rotors are expensive to buy but the more you do to them the higher they sell for so i guess we have it good. sa22 rx7s 7-20k, fc rx7s 6-15k, fds 12k and up, rx2s,rx3s and rx4s 15-30k, converted to rotor capellas and 808s 10-20k, converted 323s and 626s 6k-12k. hb cosmo 6-10k, jc cosmo 7-15k(20b dependent) all in reasonable going condition to emmaculate, ported, huge turbo huffing condition.
