FD vs. FC
#51
Any Porsche with the engine in the front just isn't a real Porsche. I'll take my FC over any front engine Porsche. On the subject of the thread:I luv my FC but I'd rather have an FD. They are just better cars.

cheapest fd i have seen was around 17k. and i know someone who bought one for 25k. i paid 2k for my 86,and my friend paid 3k for a mint 88 turbo 2. as far as car against car goes,fd will out perform.if i paid 25k for a car,it better not only perform better,it better, like go to work for me,or come with a super model. as far as bang for your buck goes, the fc beats the fd down with a stick and then some, what other high performance car can you fix with a trip to the junkyard and 25 bucks

errr... just take a look at for sale section. there are A LOT of FDs going under 17k. To get 17k, the FD better be in top condition(or have mods that can justify the price).
I agree FC is more bang for the buck than FD, but FD is a performance bargain compared to other Japanese supercars, too

yeah,i havent searched many fd's,but all ive seen were up there. fd's are probably my favorite car in the whole world. its just way way more than i can afford. if i had 10k or more and needed a race car,id buy an fd,or just lodge a 20b under my hood

ive driven both, the only thing i like more about the FD is the steering feedback, the rest i much more prefer the FC in terms of driving it. i still have yet to find many cars that i prefer in terms of driving over the FC, so far ive only found 2, the NSX and the S2000.

yep. the FC provides more bang for your buck. If you have $20K you can either buy an FD for $17K and have $3K to use, or buy an FC for $3K and have $17K to fool around with. i'm sure that with the $17K you could get the FC quicker than the FD.
