FD UIM on an s4...

I've been looking into replacing my S4 Tii's UIM with the FD's... I've seen info on the S5 conversion but what about the S4 what all needs to be done... and what all am I looking at in terms difficulty? I've searched but I've found very little on the S4 conversion... any info would be apreciated... thanks

...they won't match up perfect if at all. S5 LIMs are off on the S6 UIM by about a eigth-quarter inch on a couple of the ports If they are close, use the S4 gasket and port out the s6 uim. As long as you don't approach the sides too close. If that cuts it close, try the s6 gasket on the s4 lim and see if there is better room to port.

Its one way or the other, but I know one of the two sides has insufficient material to portmatch.

I'm pretty positive they don't come close to lining up, nor is the potential gain even worth it. A ported S4 manifold flows best for the car.

what about an s5 manifold...

is it possible to fit and s5 lim on my s4 and just port match the fd uim and the s5 lim... that is if the s5 lim is a direct bolt on... I also realize how difficult it is to change my manifold... the reason that I'm trying to switch is because I'm trying to make a custom v mount intercooler and the stock s4 uim and tb are kinda hindering my design. what looks to be a perfect alternative is the fd uim... I was just unsure of the compatibility with my s4 lim. also if I could get it to fit well what else would i have to worry about...? Such as my TPS and the rest of the stuff off my s4 TB and UIM. how would all of that s4 function with the FD UIM and tb?

thanks

Ty
