fd pump in place of 86 NA

Hey i was wondering if i could just crimp terminals on the wires to the pump and screw them on, the old pump has a clip and im unsure if it needs sealed like the old plug is or if i can have exposed screw on terminal?

The pump will work. Its too much fuel pressure though for the NA, your FPR will not be able to give the injectors proper pressure, you will be running rich for sure. You can use any kind of pump you want thats rated for whatever, buy your FPR must be able to handle it.

Point being, get an aftermarket FPR like a marren, It should fit in place of the old one, you'll probably have to tap the fuel rail for it to screw in. www.fc3spro.com has a good writeup on a parallel fuel rail conversion for the fc3s.
