FD Alternator Harness Plug wire up
I should have posted this earlier...
If you look at the back of the FD Harness Plug, you will obviously see 2 wires coming out. On the left side, this Is the side that will be on the Driverside when you plug In the Harness Plug, goes the stock Black/thin White stripe wire. On the right side, goes the White/thin Black stripe Wire.
As always should be done, besure to cut, solder, shrink tube and wrap your connections.

I suspect this Is the reason why a few have had a few problems with a smoked Voltage Regulator.
And yes I rated this thread 5 star. This Is Important Info for those who converted to a FD Alternator from their former s4 Harness Plug (s5's having the same Harness Plug as FD's).

Hey Tony...
It would be easier if you told them to do this....
On the back of the S4 Alt, there will be a pic of the plug labelling one of the wires L and one of the wires S.
On the back of the S5 and FD Alt, there will be a pic of the plug labelling one of the wires L and one of the wires R.
Connect the S to R and L to L and you are done.
