FD Alt.
spent a while searching about them FD alternators, came across a few good points (ex. ReTed's write-up). my question is, do i have to get a dual pulley?
every post i came across says yes, i have to, BUT my s4 T2 engine is still stock. emissions, rat's nest, air pump, intake box, etc. its all still there, nice and cozy inside the engine bay. does having everything stock change anything with how i'm suppose to hook that sucker up? seems like all the posts i came across had A/C or P.S. removed...and i DON'T want to do that. any info???

The old time you need a dual-belt pulley is if you remove the air pump and retain the stock thermoclutch fan. If you still have the air pump then the water pump pulley has two belts and won't slip. If you have an electric fan then only one belt is needed to turn the water pump due to the reduced load.
