fc3s window trim?

ok, so iv been looking for the part that goes on the outside of the car, its the little rails that run along the window horizontally connected to the door that ALWAYS rust...


well i need some...


anyone know where to get them?

or

what they are called specifically?

yeah,i think its mazdatrix or mazmart,one of the aftermarket sells them and their made with plastic liners instead of metal so theyll never rust out again

Having replaced those on two different cars, I can tell you that the actual Mazda part has been redesigned since the original production run. It's not metal anymore, it's rubberized and won't rust.

I need to replace mine too...but jeez, those things are expensive for some plastic pieces!!!

I was going to say the same thing, i think i can deal with them having surface rust for a little while longer lol.

If they're not rusted too bad, sand them down and paint them. They're not hard to remove and install, and it's a fairly easy piece to work with (flat and straight).

mazda part numbers are
fb0159810 being the left side
and fb0158810 being the right side
they run about 60.00 bucks a side

Hi all,

I really want to swap my outer window seals, but I'm kinda having trouble in finding them in Europe. I'd also like to find a pair of the "revamped" seals, the ones that do not rust. Do you happen to know any place in Europe where I can find them in UK or something?

I think Malloy Mazda here in Virginia will ship them overseas. PM fonzi581 he works there.
