FC sadness

I can't stress enough when people do not read, go to the first page and read it all before posting.
If I had $60'000, I would prove to have 5 26B's but I don't have the money. Even though if I did have a 26B engine, I wouldn't waste it by putting it in an FC nor would I have anything to do with it. I got other plans for a 26B alone with looking for parts to support it, you really think I'm gonna half *** this project. Have I seen or touched a 26B, no. Have I seen or touched a 20B, yes... guy at my bank owns a Cosmo.
I'll tell each parts needed to build the engine only but not the source of where I get my information.
Overseas Racing Company that makes YR26B kits
4 Rotor Eccentric Shaft
Front counter weight
Rear counter weight
2 x Center plates
2 x Stationary gears (modified)
2 x Stationary gear carriers
2 x Stationary gear external oiling mods
Rear main nut
2 x eccentric shaft end caps
---------------------
Total cost: not saying
Mazdatrix
4 x Peripheral Port Housings $4192
2 x (2) Light Weight Rotors $4730
1 x Rear Side Housing $398
3 x Side Housings $1420
1 x Front Rotor Housing $410
------------------------------------------------
Total cost: about $11'200 am I not right?
The parts listed for the engine only WITH PORTED HOUSINGS + LIGHT WEIGHT ROTORS.
Mazdatrix
4 x Rotor Housings $2420
4 x Rotors $2630
1 x Rear Side Housing $398
3 x Side Housings $1420
1 x Front Rotor Housing $410
--------------------------------------
Total cost: about $7450 are you following?
Costs of additional mods such as fabrications for all the manifolds and piping will vary.
Now ask yourself if the kit will cost you $50'000 to $90'000???

what about shipping all of this heavy stuff? you know, your going to pay OUT THE TEETH for shipping. probably a good couple 10k thousand dollars. your also not including VAT and other taxes. you also made no mention of seals. i know seal kits arent that expensive. but still...
now lets get back to the original top of the thread. why wont you just go take it to a rotary mechanic? you are just burning your money away. also, the fact that you say you have no room or time is an excuse. Nothing comes free and nothing comes instantly. you obviously dont use the car as a main means of transport. just park it somewhere where you can work on it and trouble shot it. its simple man. we "the internet" are great at helping people with rx7 problems. dont resent us for trying to help you.

Car still having issues and still in school and term won't be over till end of February, and I can't make a move yet because of weather because there's about 3 feet of snow outside and rain is on the way in a couple days so I'm not gonna let my poor car freeze and ice over. So I'm gonna let my mechanic work on it a little bit more until I contact Rotary Engine.
I'll have to call them tomorrow.

You forgot to mention, fuel rails, injectors, plumbing of the fluids and oil lines. dowls for the engine. oil pan. transmission to support the 26b, clutch to support it. dont forget the tuning involved. how many people know how to tune a 4 rotor p port engine? Custome water pump, as well as oil pump. your gonna keep AC and power stearing? you going to keep the stock radiator and oil cooler?

Long term projects are long term, one part at a time. No need to pile drive yourself into something that serious.
Like as I said, I'm still in school and gotta plan my budget very well. Can't have it at my place because of 3 feet of snow, rain is on it's way then more snow and tons of salt, 3 cars in my drive way, garage is packed with garbage, fire hydrant taking up 10m of space, neighbors rusted camper taking up more room, so why have it sitting in salt + gravel + snow + ice... currently I ride the bus, my mechanics place is the safest place to keep it at the moment and plus he's not charging me to keep it there, I'm calling Rotary Engine tomorrow to see what I can arrange.

You should really talk to some guys who have successfully done the swap. I presume you are not mechanically inclined (maybe just lazy), my point- if you lack the skill or motivation to perform most of the work yourself it will get expensive and ultimately not turn out how you envisioned.
I do all my work my self and my FC has not been forcibly off the road for one day. No one will look after your car the way you will and nobody can understand the direction you wish to go except yourself.

LoL, someone figured out how to copy and paste from the kiwi-re website!
Gotta love this statement:
Followed by your cut and paste that clearly shows the parts alone for a 26b are over $20k which does not include shipping and does not even including assembly labor for the engine. Now, captain smarty pants, how many times does 20+k go into 60k? Your math skillz need work. Stay In School!

Even if he isn't, when someone posts asking for help or advice and completely ignores what people who know what they're talking about have to say, then it's game on.
This is the only site where a thread like this would last as long as it has. Any other forum, people are smart enough to realize this guy is jerking you around.

People still aren't reading.
It's why I get other people working on my car, I'm not gonna do something on my own and regret it later on and I'm not gonna spend thousands of $$$ on tools with no place to put them.

still sounds like theres a big enough vacuum leak , possible air bubbles in coolant system, or mis adjusted tps.
Hook up a vacuum gauge and see what happens : idle , 2500rpm hold , snap throttle.
besides knowing if basics are down : fuel , spark , compression

my mechanic said all the vacuum seals are good, he also said that he tried installing a new TPS along with a new ICV and yet the same thing occurs.
