I agree 2ng gen t11s are the best thing going for mid-level sports car...Its a real sports car and not like some Eclipse or wannabe sports car thats just decent power but no suspension , handling , looks.

240! I have an N/A S5 89-91 rx7 and do ALL my own work. Its simpler than most cars even piston engines once you start getting into it. I imagine a turbo wont be to much different. Go for a T11 modded or not for 3-5k im sure you can find a real nice one. Thier way cheaper tahn they should be.

but if its taken good care of, you won't have to worry about it breaking too much.

I would love an s13 w/ an SR20det...... but I'd take even my N/A rx7 over one any day, then the s13

you should test drive the cars you're considering, and choose whatever you like best.

here's an idea: if you get a TII, you could get one w/ a blown motor for pretty cheap, and then get a jspec. then you'd have a low mileage platform to start with.
(you've probably thought of this already though)

my frend with sr swap ran a 14.4. that kinda slow for all the money he put into it. he tol me he spent like 4g's total on it (he got BOV, speedometer, exhaust, some hybrid turbo, etc) plus with a Rx7 you already have 5 LUGS, BIG BRAKES, LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL, AWS, ETC. plus a the rx7 been around for since 78, the 240, since like just 13 years ago.

the 240 also has LSD, 5lug. as for the big brake.. how big is big? the 240sx isnt that small. and as for the aws, some models had that to. 14.4 with a hybrid turbo and exhuast. driver error? or just in bad climate.

**** I Ran a 14.1 with my TII with mods when I had a broken diff mount so I could not launch only at 2krpms!, you have to be sure your ready for the rotary, I haven't yet blown an enigne (knock on wood) and I have still yet to be beat by a mustang or camaro on the street, I always take them in 3rd gear.....plus rotary have less moving parts so you won't have to worry about your camshaft and or valves!

Call the insurance company and get a quote. An FC willl be cheaper then an FD though.
