So having bigger wheels than everyone else is more important than having a car that actually looks good?

Someone point this young fellow to the honda forums, he should feel right at home there.
hahaha, stereotpye.....;(
When would the respect for the Hondas come back..? Drive them the right way people...!

If you want big wheels then get them...have fun paying for tires...yuk!

I don't like anything bigger then 17's, but if you do get 20's, please get some larger rotors/brakes.... I can't stand huge wheels with weenie brakes ....

Hey man, it doesn't matter what other people think of your idea. Its your car so do what ever you want to. If rollin on 20's is what you want then do it. Your car will atleast be original, not like some of the owners on this forum with the exact same **** on there car.

I could care less if people think that baby blue is for **** and girls. I've had so many guys tell me that my paint job is ****** gross but that hasn't stopped me from doing what I want to do. Just a little advice. Other peoples opinions sometimes just don't matter.

Mint87RX7:"think of what normal car owners will think". Do you really care about what so called normal people think? Just because their so called normal, and love their cars doesn't mean you have to be normal and get 17's or 18's. Somethin to think about. Peace Out.

I think it's the gheyest thing ever to put 20's on a sports car. There would be a performance difference. It's a good waste of money.18's & 19's are to small for you?Maybe it's time to get an Escalde or something like that and put on your 20-22 springwells.
Can someone photoshop some 20's on a FC for this guy he needs a visual.

On the flip side, there is a reason ppl run the exact same ****. Because it's a proven formula that works for looks without sacrificing performance. I run 17's all around cause i'm more into performance.

If you like the looks of 20's then go for it. The front will probably rub with 20's though but maybe you can work out a combination that doesn't I can tell you for fact though that ride and performance will suffer dramatically. If your not into those though then DUB it out!

News flash, he asked for our opinion! Read the first post.

Original does not necessarily mean good. There are plenty of things you could do to be original, but there are probably pretty good reasons why nobody else want's to do it. In this case it'll make the car look like an over-sized roller skate because the wheels are totally out of proportion to the body. The only reason people put 20" wheels on a car this size is so they can say "mine are bigger than yours", which is about the lamest reason to do anything. The fact that it looks like *** doesn't seem to matter.
Peace Out.
Yo yo homie...

The 20" idea isjnt really for performance and handling....i wanna be the only person to do it? Noone else seems to want to, and i think it'll look pretty hot, as long as i find the right style that compliments the car, i think it'll look good.....can anybody photoshop some 20's on an FC?

The problem with that is, Generally When you want to do something for SHOW, it is supposed to look GOOD. 20's on a small FC would look like ****. There is a reason why you dont see them on small sports cars. because they handle like ****, they sacrifice gas mileage, and performance, they slow your car down, put more of a load on your engine, which will wear it out faster, and they will rub on your wheel wells. And i dont know how well the stock brake system will work with the added weight and rotional force of 20" rims. Beides How could a car look "hot" if it is sitting 6" higher off the ground than stock? The only cars that look good with 20" rims, are big *** cars. To put a set of "dubs" on a tiny *** sports coupe, is almost as stupid as putting a Gigantic wing on a stock FWD honda civic.

even better is 18's on EF civics with 8" discs up front and DRUMS out back. silliest looking thing ever. at least fcs have some nice looking brakes to tuck behind a good set of wheels. i say dont go bigger than 17" at most. i have 17"s but i wouldn have bought them but they came with the car. and from a performance aspect keep the stock wheels and put some good rubber on there. oh but i forgot this was for show. and SHOW+SLOW=RICE=CRIME TO YOUR FC.

Guys, I think you're being too hard on him. It really is a unique idea.

...Much like sticking your junk in a running blender, it's unique because most people are smart enough to know better.

Let's keep it real, you car is most likely worth $1800 to $2000 and you want to buy some rims thats going to cost somewhere in the neighborhood of the cost of the car? That's MAD CORNY YO!! And on a rx7? CORNBALL!!

I've seen a miata on 17's and it looked like a monster truck - very improper and dysfunctional.
