FC Pulley kits?

I have removed my PS and AC and am geting tyred with my Water pump belt screeching every time i give it a foot full.

I would like to get a upgrade kit for it but i am not very clued up, i see there is two diffrent types! there is the duel v belt and the Multi rib belt.

Which is the better set up?,Where do i get one from and would i be able to get hold of the belts at a later date?

Thanks.

Better is multirib belt. It doesn't need as much tension as Vbelt and hasn't a higher surface area and should not slip.
Cheaper is the dual pulley.

Just remember your belt size and any parts store will have it.

The belts/pullies with the "ribs" are very cool (look like a supercharger belt on a big block hot rod). Less tension is needed and they dont slip. Best of all, they look really cool! Id put them in my car, but im a poor college student again now that i had to pay for this semester of school.

They are here at www.checkpointmotors.net

WOW! Look at the size of the alternator pulley!! That thing must be spinning ridiculously slow!!

I would want a serpentine belt alternator pulley to be about 1/3 of that size!

Is there any way to order just the water pump and main pulley from those guys? Maybe I'll just use a 3rd gen alternator pulley (which is multi-rib serpentine) stock.

?

I don't see any pulleys.

I'm looking for serpentine/ribbed pulleys for the FC.

Yeah sorry about that, the site is just getting going. There are 3 sets at the shop, 2 in the display case. Just call Autonomic, they should be able to tell you.

I tried them on my car and it sounded like i had a supercharger on it! Very cool, but very pricey. I dont run them now becuase i have a cat and airpump on again.
