FC and FD brakes... QUICK!

Hi everyone,
LONG time no talk...haha...anyways

Are FD and FC brakes interchangeable? My friend is building up his Starion and wants some 4-pot brakes. He knows FD brakes fit but are expensive...are FC and FD brakes the same bolt pattern?

He had an 88...got an 87 and put his motor/tranny/ecu in it and never swapped the brakes...I never really looked but I thought they were all the same single pot brakes...

the 88-89 frt calipers are different then the 87 and older starion brakes...

as for the fd brakes I thought they were not interchangable on the fc's guess I was wrong..

Calipers are the same. Rotors are different. FD rotors are larger.

So an FD 'upgrade' is 'stock' FC 4 pots.
