Exhaust Manifold Gasket?

So apparently, there's an exhaust leak on my car... which was caused by a bad exhaust manifold gasket. Or something.

What I want to know, is whether or not the exhaust manifold gasket is actually a pre-fabbed piece, or one of those silicone-gasket-in-a-tube things...

Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

Consumer grade silicone RTV is only good for 600F to maybe 700F intermittent for the "hi temp" stuff.
EGT's can hit 2000F in a rotary engine.
This stuff will turn to powder.
Bite the bullet and get the stock Mazda OEM gasket.

damn I thought this very thing but it turned out being my turbomanifold had super fine cracks in it causing the exhaust leak, inspect it very carefully before you put it back on, could be more than a blown gasket
