Evhaust leak??
Hey,
I cant tell if this is an xhaust leak, this ring a bell to any FC owners?
Sometimes, usually at low speeds and parked, and usually right after the heat is turned on, i smell fuel. It lingers for a moment an then goes away, usually quicker if i drive off. Im not positive but ist smells more like fuel than exhaust.
Its only in the cabin however, there is only a faint trace of the scent under the hood, so im thinkin its nothing to fo with the charcol canister?
any ideas?
is this dangerous?

^^ you are no help.
evelhalo, On a cold cold morning, start up your car and then look under it, at all the exhuast components. See if you can see steam come out from between the flanges, that would indicate blown gaskets. Use OEM ones, they last.
But since you are smelling fuel, you could be running rich, or have a slight leak in your fuel system. Look and smell around your engine bay to pinpoint the exact location of the smell.

be careful, that excessive fuel smell could be a bad pulsation dampener, which is very serious and could result in a fire
search pulsation dampener for more info
