This quote:*t already IS re-routed to the intake sometimes. when it's not injected to
port air or to the split air pipe... where does it go?*

When it does not go to Port Air(exaust ports)or Split Air(to the catalytic converter), the air will go directly to the intake air thru the AAV part of the acv. Happens only during decelleration. At certain times it mostly gets dumped overboard, like at above 3800rpm.

For what its worth, the air pump does not put out enough volume to do much of anything. Also you can put your thumb over its exaust port at full revs and it won't shove your thumb off it.

It may not push your thumb off of it but it will sure as hell burn the **** out of it!! I have been working on a custom 6th port and VDI set-up using a hose from the now free standing air pump; and that sum'bitch makes some HOT AIR!

NOPE! I'm using a single open ended hose running off of the air-pump about a foot long. At the end of the hose is a hose clamp. There are two vacuum lines tapped into this large hose; one running to the 6th ports and one running to the VDI. Now the hose clamp and vacuum line leanths are what I use to adjust the opening positions. The tighter I close down the hose clamp the earlier the systems open. And to fine tune it; I cut small pieces of vacuum hose off to make the tract a little shorter. I have held off on the real fine tuning untill I get the hose clamp exactly where I want it. It has a few draw backs but it is simple and cheap. And best of all, it works! The only real problem is the drop in pressure in the lines when the systems start to open, which causes the actuators to kind of bounce open. At full throttle this bouncing open makes the car sorta jerk a little. I will deal with this issue as soon as I figure out how to. All in all I like it; it is a step in the right direction anyways. I now have no ACV or ANY solenoids, and I still have a functional 6th ports and VDI system!

Let me tell you about having only like 4 vacuum lines.

it has been explained that this WILL NOT work in enough logical explanations that it is proven by now that this will NOT improve anything.

jeez...next we are going to see "how to reverse the air pump for Dry NAWZ injection system".

or...

or wait....how about connecting the air pump intake to a tank of hydrogen or liquid oxygen and then outputting the air-pump hose that goes to the catalytic converter to the air intake, or better yet, direct port injection.

LoL

This sounds like a "cross-drilled brake lines" thread.

Dre, it was OBVIOUSLY an insult... i.e. a FLAME. The warning stands... Drop it now.

its his time hes going to be wasting

I hear ya there. I don't know what it would do....but in theory I guess I could see it working.

yarg...

no no no

theoretically it will not work.

Is anyone listening to the posts on here? The Air Pump CANNOT pass enough air to make it worth while...If you feel the amount of air coming out of the air pump it is like blowing out a candle type power.

Now consider this, would blowing into your air intake give you more HP??? Nope.

It is the same concept...the theory that you say it would work with is not theory, it is mad witch doctor talk...no worky.

Comprendes?

I don't mean to be an ***, but seeing as I have a very strong understanding of physics I can say that there is no way that this would ever work.

Heck, a leaf blower strapped to the intake puts out more air volume/second than the air pump...

Hmmm, I wonder why professional racing teams never slapped a leaf blower to thier intakes???

NEXT ON RED GREEN: Leaf Blower Super Chargers. (How to use Duct tape to seal those oil leaks).

Why don't we all just fill the cold start system with ATF and rig up a switch beside the steering wheel? That way we can do the ATF trick while we drive!
