European vs US 87-88TII CV axles differences
...i have found interesting thing : european TII CV axles are longer, i would say lighter and 2,4cm in diameter (instead with american version which is shorter, heavier and 2,6cm in diameter)
can`t use european CV axle in my car, even its both 87 TII, its too long to fit it on...
i know about difference about turbo/nonturbo CV axles, but both those i am talking are from 87-88TII
atleast we have one more TII imported from USA so i could have used axle from that car, but it didn`t solved my problem anyways...

That sounds to me like the difference between US spec N/A halfshafts (the little ones) and TII halfshafts (the big ones). If you can get your hands on some N/A halfshafts, try those.
Could you make some measurements of the driveshaft? It sounds to me like the euro-spec TII used an N/A rear end, but that would require a different driveshaft...
Interesting stuff
