Okay, folks, I'm trying to reconcile a race outcome here.
What are your estimates for:
- ET at 1/4mi
- MPH @ 1/4mi
- RWHP
assuming a decent driver in a 1989 TurboII, with
- TID/cone
- no emissions (no airpump)
- Fiero e-fan
- TB mod w/ open-air'd BOV
- completely stock exhaust, even incl. the cat(s)
that dyno'd at 175/168 RWHP/RWTQ when bone-stock.
Talk amongst yourselves...![Big Grin](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I would have to say your RWHP is still going to be close to 175 although your torque might be up a little higher.
I dyno'd my 89 TII several months ago with TID, HKS intake, Cat back, MSD, stock cats and got 179/219. I then installed a DP and high flow cat and re-dyno'd at 230RWHP and 229Lb/Ft torque.
Until you get rid of the stock cats, you are choking all your performance mods.
As for your 1/4 mile and MPH #s, I would concur with the previous posts.

Thanks for the input, all ![Smilie](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The Eclipse I raced (the race is detailed in the Kills section) by all accounts (i.e. the DSMtalk forum) should be running high-mid 13s, or low 14s at the best. I didn't think that I could have dropped an entire second with what essentially amounts to an intake...
I guess either I'm running faster than I thought, or he's running slower. I think it may actually be the first, since Brian Smith (of Pensacola fame) made the comment that it's the fastest stock-exhaust TII he's ever driven, which is saying something.
But who knows?
Anyone feel like organizing an event in G-ville at the 1/4 mi track and a dyno?
