Engine won't turn over.....

Okay guys, i have a few questions...My car was idling really nice for a while so i drove it down the street and when i came to a stop it started idling really rough...i had to keep giving it gas so it wouldn't die...so i drive it back to the house and when i came back to an idle it finally died...so i tried to crank it again and it wouldn't turn over....it sounds like it really wants to but it doesn't...do you think i may be getting too much gas or what? I'm getting about 3-5 PSI in fuel pressure, and i also have a carb on it...the guy who i bought it from turned it from fuel injection to carb, and theres things unplugged everywhere, and wires all over, i have no clue whats going on.....when i first bought it a couple of days ago i raced a stock SS Camaro and hung with it the entire time....to about 120mph.....so it's not something that is crappy done it's just a fuel or spark problem....does anyone have any suggestions????

Was it low on power on the drive back? Slow to rev, had to give it lots of throttle and clutch slip to take off from a stop?

a stock ss camaro should kick your ***. Unless your car is modded or the driver of the camaro sucks. Does it turn over and not start or is it hydrolocked/siezed?

I raced one, and I make 250 at the wheels - which is almost 300bhp.
The SS will pull on your on the straight.

So what exactly is "modded pretty good"?
Bridgeport?
Is your car turbo'd?
If not, no NA can touch an SS unless the SS didn't know he was in a race...

Dude, we raced until like 105mph, that's not daily driving, i bought the car with all the mods on it...it's got some kind of port job, msd, no a/c or powersteering, it's gutted, weber side draft double stack carburator, RB Header, 3" exhaust back to a magnaflow muffler (very loud), XTD Stage 3 clutch ....and that is pretty well modded to me......but i really did beat the ss....why would i make that up???
