engine tuning effecting vacuum reading???

I don't know if i just have a leak......i was messing around with the line for my boost gauge...its that crappy clear tubing 'm just goin to get the get the rubber line tomorrow to check rule that out or maybe the gauge is screwing up. But anyway I changed the line of code that keeps the n374 from firing the rear rotor on my toms racing ECU thats tuned for my engine with my eprom burner,It runs nice, and revs solid ....i was just givin it little shots of gas to 3000 rpm....it would idle at 700-750rpm nice and smooth the vacuum was holdin a steady 14in/hg

with the knights sport chip i never let it idle before to get and accurate reading but it would go around 12-14 at idle so i would keep it at around 1100rpm before because it would idle ruff and have low vacuum but at 1000 it would have around 18-19 but the toms ecu its at 16???
the compression is good in the engine i've been through that its just when i change the ecu's but like i said it could just be a leak some where screwing with me makin me all paranoid....i never had a vacuum/boost gauge in a car so i don't know really how it should be acting ......my WBo2 will be in tomorrow so that'll give me some reassurance

but can engine tuning have an effect on vacuum levels?
i switch them back and it changes so nothin is facked up

Running an engine too rich will lower vacuum readings.

i think that was what was happening when i tried lettingi it idle with that knightsport chip..it was rich enough to start boggin it a bit

but i was just lookin at some of my old videos where i showed the vacuum and its about where its running with the toms lol.....i'm just overparanoid hahaha
my WB will be in tomorrow ...i can't wait, i'm bringin the car to my uncles in the country to put some kms on it .....i just plan on drivin it around and keep it outta boost...it needs to be driven.....but it won't be ready for the road till mid april
