Unhappy Engine Shaking

I've done a search and my results were inconclusive.

Here's what happened. I noticed that my airpump had a piece of metal missing off of it, so I swapped in the one from my other 7. Car starts up fine and idles well initially, but after the test drive I started to notice a really bad vibration.

Popped the hood, and saw the motor shaking pretty badly. At first I was thinking motor mounts, but I didn't really do any hard driving that would break them. I must note, that prior to replacing the airpump, the car had none of these symptoms.

Now I think that my BAC is crapping out (notice that sometimes the idle dips really low when I come to a stop). Would a properly working airpump pronounce the symptoms of a bad BAC???

Next thing I was thinking was TPS...no clue how to set it, but...all of the problems seem to go away with the slightest touch on the throttle. The engine is really smooth through the whole rpm range and power is all there (no problems accelerating) just at idle.

Sorry if this is confusing, but thanks in advance,

Brad

Air pump has nothing to do with the BAC, unless you consider that they both use intake air...

Check out the BAC per the book, or do a search (same with the TPS)

Take the airpump off again and see if she shakes any more without it. That'll tell ya everything you need to know...
