is the engine the problem?
this is only my second post, so please be gentle.
i need some advice from the experts. i'm looking at buying a 1991 RX-7 N/A Coupe with 121000km, not miles. everything on the car is in perfect condition, however it does not start. now i'm hoping the engine is not blown, considering the low milage of the car.
my question to everyone is this: supposing the engine is still fine, does anyone have any ideas on why the car won't start, or any suggestions on how to get it started. i hope to try to do a compression test on it later this week.
a hopeful RX-7 owner to be
thanking you in advance
for your advice

does it crank over?, if so, check for things like spark and fuel (if you cant then have someone do it for you)
if it doesnt crank over, and the battery is fully charged the engine is either carbon locked or decided to eat a apex seal or something of the like

Well it could be other things, my car wouldnt start, it wouldnt crank over, and it was the starter relay. Can you push start it? or try at least, if you do, and the wheels lock up its probly carbon locked, Correct me if im wrong, im not an expert

If it cranks at all, get a compression test done or do it yourself. If not, like the others have said, it's either carbon locked or it ate an apex seal.
