engine damage?

I found out that at least one of my oil meter pump lines is melted into 2, this is probably my oil leak problem, but since it's been broken for a while would that do a lot of damage to my engine? Isn't that the part that lubricates the engine? Only one line that I know of has been melted.

it really depends on how long it has been and what kinda driving is done, also do you premix? if so youre still fine but i would do a compression test to be sure and maybe get a fiber-cam to look inside the housings if your really worried

well, autocrosses pretty hard driving i guess. it's probably been off for a few years. I'm taking it to a place called gt garage and have him fix it, not sure if he'll check it all out or not.
