engine for a 1988 GTU

where should i get my block from? i want a slight port job done.
can you use the stock EFI and ECU when you mix and match rotor's and housings? i have heard you can get alot of power using turbo housings with the n/a high comp rotors i am looking to spend 1-3k for block thanks

btw i have 70-90 k on a all new block from Hayes in my 88 vert. my old engine had no usable parts. it was very costly, this block is for my brothers 88 GTU as a DD and also his second car so not to much power

why not just go turbo? if you're going to blow 3K into the FC at least make it fast.

a turbo can be used as a DD but is more costly.. and even more if you cannot do the work yourself. as my brother is a 20 year old and this is his first rx7 and a n/a is fast enough for right now
