emissions removal clarification

Hey guys I just am looking for some clarification on a s4 TII diagram. If you look at the diagram I posted do I need a vac hose from the little red arrow that comes out of the solenoid at the bottom right of the diagram to the other little red arrow on the UIM??

thanks in advance

I kept mine to keep the functionality of the twin scroll system. I kept the green solenoid, check valve, and routed the hose exactly as shown in that picture.

I don't see the point in eliminating it. Why would you want to hurt your low end for no real benefit?

Yes. If you're still using the stock S4 turbo w/ the twin scroll system.
