Emissions re-installed. Car won't start....

So, long story short, I bought a motor that had the emissions removed. I have to pass smog so I re-installed the whole system (ports, air pump, afc, solenoids, etc) and now it won't start. I stopped at 1 am and am going to get back on it over the next few days and am hoping that someone here can give me some guidance as to what I should be looking for.

Just to be clear, I searched for this, but all I found was threads on emissions removal, not putting them back on and the car was running very well prior to the emissions being put back on.

Here's where I am so far....

- Engine is turning over, but not starting.

- It has fuel. We primed the system via the yellow plug by the air box and can hear it swishing through the fuel rail.

- All vacuum lines have been re-installed, but some might be going to the wrong place. I'll have the fsm and haynes manual with me to make sure they are alright.

- Swapped the harness over from my old car that was running just fine. The harness that was in the car was hacked up to death.

- Everything is plugged into the EGI/ECU and the relays that are near it. Although, there are 2 black connectors that I have no idea where they go. I'll look into it later.

- Oxygen sensor is hooked up.

- I'm not 100% sure it is getting spark. I think something in the wiring may be wrong or I did it wrong.

- There was one ground I did not hook up that was on the harness and hooked up by the clutch slave cylinder. I will hook that back up for sure.

- All fuel injector wires are going to the appropriate injector.

Any insight into this issue would be greatly appreciated as I have to make it pass smog by the end of month and I can't do that if it is not running.

you need that ground you speak of by the slave cylinder.
