electrical question. accessory wire
ok the red accessory wire or stereo wire inside the dash. i had a metal connector accidently touch the shifter and it popped something .
i was in the prossess of checking my electrical work and i didnt realize it was near the metal and it wound up popping when i turned the key.
all of my fuses are fine but the red wire has no power to it. what could it be.

lmao its not the red and black wire. i know to stay away from that. its the red accessory wire like i stated above. i have been useing it for 5 years as power source for my stereo and a switch source for a few relays for accessories. but because its been so hot outside i didnt think clearly and made an error. and now i;m trying to fix the error i had made

so last night i started digging into the dash. the red wire of course lead to the blue wire with white stripe. i then looked at the FSM and found there to be no controler or switch i could have fried. so i went back in and pulled the audio fuse for a 2nd time. and this time it WAS blown? so wierd. maybe the fuze didnt look blown before but after turning the key a few times it finally looked obviously blown? so very weird because that was one of the fuses i pulled.... annoying!!
