electrical power cuts out?
It seems like my power cuts out for a second while driving. The car will still run but everything (radio, lights etc) cuts off for a second then restarts. This is getting annoying.
Other times the power cuts out after I just parked, then remains off. I have to unhook the battery terminals and re-attach them, then the power comes back.
I thought maybe there was a loose battery terminal, so I just redid all of those connections but still no change.
The only recent work has been replacing the a/c compressor.
Any help?
thanks in advace

EDIT: Also check the other end of the battery cables(not at the battery) as they both (+ and-)connect to the starter.

IF you worked around the a/c compressor, then maybe you knocked loose the connector that feeds the ignition switch. ITs a single black wire with black connector about three to six inches inbd and below the engine bay fuse box.
