Question Electrical Help!

sorry but im new to rotary's and know nothing about electrical. just got an FC for 1200 [YESSSS! ], and im replacing the stereo and the cigarette lighter doesnt work. im just wondering do i unplug the pos. or neg. cable from the battery b/c i dont want to get shocked... again

basic car electronics 101 (not rotary specific):

Always disconnect the negative lead from the battery first and reconnect the Negative lead last.

Aquire a Hyanes Manual for your 7 or FSM (factory service manual) and follow the instructions, step by step.
