whatever coolant is sitting from the base of that tube, to the water pump will come out... that's it.

if you take the top of the hose off first, you can probably aim the rest @ a bucket or whatnot; for the least amount of spillage.

I know it might be my "I don't care about the environment" nature... but why not just park the car in the yard and rip the thing off???

Here is the fan I used to have, It did a hell of a job on my 87 NA. It was rated at ~2000cfm. I got it for right around $100 from summit. I did not even need the fan shroud. My car ran cool and I never had an overheating problem. Right now on my TII, I am having trouble keeping it cool with electric fans, however these I have on my TII are only rated at 1600+400+400cfms. Yeah thats right I have 3 fans on it running constantly and it overheats ever so slightly on hot summer days. :P No worries I just ordered a 2800cfm.

here is an old pic of my NA install.

Actually the bracket came with the fan :P. I also tried the through - radiator type mounts and those are even easier to mount and they dont seem to hurt the radiator in any way.

I found this seller on ebay that I convinced him to drop the price of his 2800cfm fans to $112 shipped to my door. I am still a little bit skeptical about his fans though, I will try it out and if it really does what he claims it does, then I would recommend him to you and you can deal directly with him.

Cheers
TRU
