Not to toot my own horn, but when I set up my Cosmo cooling system I applied my e-fan knowledge gained over the past bunch of years setting up, observing, making fun of, and advising on e-fans.

Which boiled down to:
-dual fans to allow staged operation
-full rad shroud
-flaps

The fan I ended up using was I believe this:
Dual Powerpacks : High Output Dual 12" Electric RAD Fan/Aluminum Shroud Kit - 25-5/8"W x 17-1/8"H x 4"D

Or at least one of the similar models. Some measurement showed that it would fit the FC with a little shroud trimming. One day I will be replacing my single GM fan (which has worked basically flawlessly) with these fans.

Two stage fans I now consider a necessity and recommend them in every case. Not only do they typically move more air, but the staged operation means much smoother tuning and vehicle operation. One fan is typically enough for 99% of cooling needs around town. You don't end up with that on/off 40A draw from the electrical system nor that roaring air noise.

Edit...Here's the Cosmo cooling system video:
