electric antenna test
My antenna ('88 SE) didn't respond to the original radio, and doesn't respond to the aftermaket JVC I installed. (I put in a relay to ground the antenna's relay, as original.) So, how can I test the relay attached to the antenna, and test the motor, too? Does anyone know the wiring at the relay's plug? Thanks in advance.

I gotta question about radio. After installin an aftermarket head unit, i found that the stock radio input that goes into the radio is too long and wont fit in there without hitting the firewall, how do you guys get it to fit w/ aftermarket radio's?

Blu/Yel (signal from head unit- stock=ground when on)
Black Ground
Light green 12v+ (constant)
Blu/red Accessory
Blk/green Ignition
The Black/Green or Blue red have to be powered for the antenna relay to work. they provide power for the coil, that is switched by the ground on the Blu/yel.
The light green is the 12volt source for the motor, so that will need to work as well. There is a 10 amp fuse in the fuse box for it.
