I'm just now publishing a second set of movies from a recording I made yesternight. I was able to get the S-AFC II in the shot but the zoom killed me a bit. :/

Yes, that is correct.

When the ECU does go into closed-loop, it gets very hot, as it tries to maintain a 14.7:1 stoic ratio.
Through my experience, any heavy load EGT *should* be cooler than this EGT at closed-loop.
