"EGR blockoff plate/ ACV blockoff plate"
Hi there,
I've been looking to purchase an FC for a while, and have done a lot of my browsing on eBay.
I came across an auction that seemed to be exactly what I was looking for - only this caught my eye:
"EGR blockoff plate. ACV blockoff plate."
As I live in California, there's no way this car would pass emissions inspection. However, it's being auctioned for very cheap. My question is: How much time/money would probably have to be spent to rebuild and have it pass emissions?
The auctioned car can be found here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6327
Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
A

Hey bro
I don't know how much you know about sevens, but if its the base model, it can't have the stock 4.10 Limited Slip rear end. They just didn't come as an option with the base model SE's. unless he added it later but then why is he calling it stock?
Another thing that bothered me on this was "The tranny could use a little work (which doesn't cost much on these) but will shift fine." Thats a bunch of crap tranny's cost alot to fix no matter what they are out of, especially a seven in my opinion. get some more opinion,
oh and you live in California, the car is in North Carolina, If I were you I would buy a car closer to home. Lates Matt22
