EGI fuse?

Where the heck is the EGI fuse?

My Dad wanted to start my car, and kept pumping the gas... even though it told him not too....

It is in the fuse box near the top front left corner of the engine bay, in front of the strut tower. It should be labeled on top of itsblack rectangular cover.

Please read the FAQ for FC sticky trhead at the top of this section before posting. It has the fuse box layouts in it.

Your Dad should learn that you never ever ever pump a fuel injected car when starting. You should bring him over to the computer and make him read this right now!

Next time if he or anyone has flooded it HOLD the accell pedal all the way down while cranking. That will clear all but the worst flooded 2nd and third gen RX-7 engines.

And you don't have a FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL DOWNLOADED FROM THE WEB........don't know where the fuses are in the car..........and didn't look at the FAQ on this site which has a jpg of the engine fuse box. Runs in the family???? (humor, please, just joking with you)
