Question EDFC Question

I was just wondering if anyone would know how to take the EDFC's off the struts to change the springs, and is there any way to change the extremities on them?

Welcome to the forum. Please read the "stickies" here in the 2Gen forum where you will find links to scanned factory service manuals.

"EDFC" is the name of a Tein product. The stock AAS actuators on your GXL are simply called "actuators". No, you can't adjust the damping rates unless you have the electrical engineering skills to reprogram the AAS computer. The general consensus is that the AAS is worthless, so most people simply replace the AAS shocks with good aftermarket non-adjustable or mechanically-adjustable shocks.

There are cautions associated with the springs. See the manual for details.
