The 40a fuse in the engine bay supplies 12v to the coils and the ENGINE fuse in the crew compartment supplies 12v to the fuel pump. You do know the fuel pump does not run unless the key is held to On or the engine actually starts whereupon the switch in the afm puts a ground on the Circuit Opening Relay to keep the fuel pump a runnin?? Yes.

the battery is find, ill check all the grounds right now.
Yeah i already checked the 40a fuse but not the 12v. Ill check that now, and I checked for fuel by turning the engine and testing for fuel pressure. But I guess Ill get another hand into this and have them hold open afm and then check for pressure. but shouldnt I still be getting the 3 second light up on my checker.

Jumper your fuel pump check connector near the r/h front strut tower. Witht the key to ON, the pump should run all the time.

Check the ENGINE fuse in the crew compartment. It HAS to be good.

Pull the small white, two wire connector off the LEAD coil assy and see if there is 12v on the black/yellow wire with the key to ON. Don't worry about the other wire right now.

IF there is 12v on the black/yellow wire, and the fuel pump is a workin....the car should have spark and start.
