Question ECU Question

i have a stock fc3s gtu non turbo, i want to know how high i can rev without blowing my engine. whtas a safe rmp? i want to upgrade ecu and tacho. meter so i can use my engine to its full potential.

it will be dependent on engine year, condition, and flywheel, but generally what is safe is what is listed on the tach on the dash.

Yeah, what the tach says. Unless you go balancing and clearancing the rotating assembly, replace the stationary gears and do ignition mods. Also you won't make much power past redline especially with stock ports. Maybe if you go peripheral port or somthing really wild.

8,000RPM, but it doesn't make more power up there.
