ecu and harness advice?
My jdm swap was almost complete over the weekent when i started up my rx7. It was surging, but it idled by itself. up and done 500 rpms while idling. it would run good once i got on it and pulled well past 6000rpm. thats before i taped the wire harness. after i taped the harness it wont even start now. I extended the jdm harness instead of buying one for $719. I have a jspec ecu aswell. Do you think its better to find a U.S. spec harness since the jdm one is missing the transparent like connector anyways? and another thing, when ever my ignition is on my wiper fuse blows no matter what. the wiper motor isnt even hooked up because of the whole right hand drive harness. Anybody know whats up?

You would have been better off using your series five n/a harness than that right hand drive harness. Chunk the JDM harness OR get the wiring diagrams for the series five and figure it out for yourself by going point to point on the JDM harness.
Sounds like the JDM is wired a bit different and when you plug it in the JDM harness has a wire that creates a dead short for the wiper fuse. In other words the harness is *different*. Different wires in different sockets for different purposes.
