ok, as some of you may know, i have a company tuned ECU. "Power House Amuse ROM ECU"

with the research i've done, Power House Amuse steers mainly towards hondas but make ecu's for various high performance cars (SkylineGTR, NSX, 350Z...)

heres the deal. the car runs great and i definitely noticed the difference in performance when i swapped the ECU. no probs HOWEVER...

when the A/C is on, the idle speed will drop (normal) and it puts more strain on the motor (also normal), but sometimes when i'm accelerating usually from a start, i get this weird "WHOOOP" and its comes from the ECU. i know its hard to believe but i swear to god it makes this noise!!!!! its like the ECU has a built in alarm inside of it. i'm not sure what this alarm is trying to tell me. i'm sure its some sort of warning, but for what (bad AFR, timing,)??? is this common in tuned ECUs? could this possibly be a race ECU that was not made for the street or A/C???? here are some pics, i'm swear i'm not pulling this outta my *** and any help would be great. thanks guys, i know its weird but maybe someone has heard or knows something about this

Never heard a ECU make a noise other than FIZZ POff and then the genie escaped

i know it sounds hard to believe, but i'm not making this up. if there is anyone in the nearby area, come a take a ride with me and i'll prove it to you.

it makes an alarm noise "whhoooop" i'm absolutely serious about this. unless there is something else above the passenger feet that makes a noise (its not the blower either)

is there no one on the forum that has ever heard of this???? does anyone out there have a tuned ECU????

Does the ECU maybe have a cooling fan built in? It is a computer after all and under stress it will heat up. You may be hearing the fan comeon if there is one.
