ECU Code results...

I pulled my ECU Codes and this is what it came out with...

8 - Airflow meter
11 - Intake air thermosensor
13 - Pressure Sensor

Again, this seems to be after I reved it to redline on one occasion, although I have done it many times before, and it could have done it by just regular driving, I'm not sure when it came on during that trip. Is this something serious I should worry about, or would it be ok to travel to TX, a 3.5 hour drive, on these conditions?

Thanks,
Driv300

What I would do first, is check the connections at each of the flagged components.

With those codes being thrown I would expect the car could start driving funny. I would not take it on the trip. If I were a gamblin man I might.

are you saying you pulled all those codes at once? I was under the vague impression that only the lowest code would come up if multiple existed.
regardless, I'd pull the voltages at the ecu and compare them to the table in the fsm at iluvmyrx7.com

Sounds like someone put in a cone intake and left a bunch of things unplugged, or not plugged in correctly.

Yeah... I don't get the whole piston thing...

There has been an APEXi cone filter on for a long time, and it's never shown the check engine light until now... I'll try to take the intake apart once I get the damn tools to do so, I can't reach some of the bolts, like the one on the left bottom side of the intake hose... that thing is hard! Oh well, off to Sears...

As for the voltage checking, I'll try that... but what will that tell me?

I just took some pics after I removed my intake stuff... Haven't removed the Manifold, but I'm too amateur to do so and I don't want to screw anything up. Are my throttle plates looking good or do they need adjustment? You probably can't tell... how about everything else, is there something I can check on? Sorry for the bad pics, I did the best I could...

Oh, one more thing... when I first got the car, It died all the time and wouldn't keep a steady idle... I adjusted the only thing I could think would help, and it did... but, I had no clue what it EXACTLY was... I tried unscrewing it to try to tinker with it a bit more to get the idle just right, and since it is a plastic screw + hot engine, the threads stripped. I spent about 20 minutes making new threads in the screw so I could unscrew it fully and possibly replace it with a metal one of the same size... I got it to the top of the threads and it doesn't come out of the housing so I can't really remove it unless I got something REALLY thin to fit in there. Anyways, main question is, does anyone know exactly what it is?

disconnect the battery and step on the brakes until they will not light up anymore. That ensures that any energy left in the car is totally drained and leave it for 10 minutes. Try that and it should reset the ecu.
