Take out the scuff panel over the right door sill. 4 or 5 screws; a power screwdriver is helpful.
Pull up the first 18" of the door seal going up the front of the door opening.
Pry up the right hand kick panel; there is a special tool, kind of a broad, notched and angled screwdriver, that is very useful for prying up the plastic connectors without breaking anything.
Pull up the right carpet starting at the right front corner; pry back and expose the cover plate.
Remove the three 10mm bolts. A long 3/8" extension is very useful here.
Pull out the metal cover; the ecu is exposed, with the connectors at the bottom (rear).
