get some sleep and read the FAQ for FC in the main 2nd gen section. that should have most of the info you need.

Okay.. you're not trying to turbo your car, but this is a "turbo project?"

Like I said... just buy headers.

o well. the fact of the matter is im strongly against anyone even mentioning them as being any bit reputable.
this thread needs deletion.

your account needs deletion, not this thread, if you can't honestly debate the pros and cons of a product.

We have a S5 turboII with a front mount intercooler(megan racing) and a 62-1 turbo(XS engineering) wtih a 50MM wastegate all held together by an SS autochrome turbo manifold. It's boosting 14psi and has not had a problem with cracking. There are no weak spots and no cracks developing. The car is a daily driver. My personal car is running a 60-1 turbo on a Cosmo 2 rotor with the FD style manifold wihich just looks better than the FC version and fits fine. No mods needed. My setup has been in and done for about 2 months with no problems.
There is a slight difference in the quality of the ss autochrome manifolds and the ones that look exactly like them on ebay. Yes they are all from china but they are made through different manufacturers.
Buy one from SS autochrome and buy another one from Tpros or some other ebay store and you can see the difference when you get them in your hands.
SS autochromes units have cleaner welds and look more reassuring from the inside where as the other ones I have seen look crappy.
I have gotten both the fc, fd and the nissan SR20 manifolds in the past few months.
We also installed an XS power front mount intercooler kit on a S13 with a SR20 and it fit great and looks awesome.
Not sure about any of the other products but i hope this little feedback helps someone make a decision in the future when on a budget.

I think it's saft to say that we're done here.

If anyone following this thread wants more information on SSAutoChrome manifolds, a search for "ssautochrome" or "ebay turbo manifolds" will turn up the many past threads on this subject.
