i'll sell u my pair of cross/drilled slotted rotors.
brembo in the front. bradi in teh back. but they work perfect together.

was going to use them but figured i had upgraded calipers. meaning this set is for single piston 5-lug N/A w/o the 4 pot brakes.

pM me if interested than i'll take pics.

i read it. i understand it. just looking for something to replace the old rusted up rotors that were on there from sitting over the years and were rusted to the calipers. in neutral no parking brake... car wouldn't budge.

cross drilled rotors are really for street use for FC.

Just go down to your local auto parts store and get conventional discs there. Cheaper and you don't have to worry about the rotor exploding.

People need to remember that a lot of the "Performance" stuff sold on ebay is really cheap crap that would never pass manufactures inspection on even a korean car. Many of the things sold there are down right unsafe (like the 4 point "racing seat belts" that have a small simple conventional lock clasp, that wouldn't pass DOT inspection if your doubled them).

i use slotted rotors on my cadillac, do a superb job at stopping the 2 ton behimeth. i dont know anything specifically about that company, but to me brakes are an investment next to the engine, i wont skimp on the brakes they are the things that will stop you when your going fast. so save up some extra money for power slot rotors. and get some hawk pads or somethign of quality, brakes stop you and when you cant stop you'll hate yourself when you use cheap stuff

I have a pair off ebay for my braking system and they are pretty good, at least they haven't exploded yet I have taken some runs on southpark rd. up to 140 and then stopped from there to see how good they where and seemed to work just fine.

Like Icemark said cheap rotors will pretty much crack completely and fly off the car leaving you with nothing but a nice wall to stop you

His sig says brembo. Cross-drilled rotors serve a big purpose, just not in everyday use.

no... they dont. waste of money and thats not my opinion it's a FACT, did you not read the links? Drilling = less suface area = hotter rotors = exploding rotors when your trying not to hit that kid running across the street. NO racing body uses drilled rotors, some use dimple to act as wear markers but NO ONE uses drilled rotors. Some use slotted and some use solid because the rules do not permit slotted

i'm betting he hasen't taken his rotors off and inspected them, more then likly they are cracked or are starting to form small stress cracks. Alot of times you can't see the crack but Magnaflux (i think thats what it's called) will probally show tons of small stress cracks forming.

well the local parts store has oem spec replacements for $54 ea. that's over $200. drilled & slotted ones on ebay (cheap ones) are going for $129 and up. so i guess its true when they say "you pay for what you get". not to mention if the parts store is selling them for $54 i bet the mazda dealership sells original parts way more than that. to me if high polished, zinc coated, rust preventive coated, slotted, drilled, vented rotors (for what they say they do) should more expensive than stock.

You can get bremo OEM style for about $200 shipped, front and rear rotors. Why they don't list the part numbers for the rears in their manufacturer's catelog I don't know.

here's what i got from a rep from some slotted rotors on ebay. tell me what you think:

ME:

so do you have the 4 lug slotted rotors for my car in stock? are they zinc coated? what's the warranty? stock oem size? what pads do you reccomend? how long would it take to ship once you recieve the money? what company manufactures these?

THEM:

1. We do have the 4-lug rotors in stock but we will have to slot them for you. So you just want them slotted only and not drilled correct?

2. Yes

3. TriNET Motorsports offers a 90 day limited warranty against warping and cracking.
The rotors have to be installed by a legitimate shop in order for the warranty to be valid.

4. Yes

5. Axxis Metal Master pads

6. 2-3 business days

7. The blanks are Dura and we service them
