easy: rearview mirror

my rear view mirror fell off, prolly due to teh sun. Any ways my rents want to take it to the shop so they can glue it back on. But how dumb is that. So do any of you know of a good glue that would work?

Go to Napa, auto Zone, Pep Boys (you pick) and get a $5 tube of mirror cement. Follow the instructions, and 15 minutes later, good as new!!

I can't remember exactly but I think the mirror bolts to the frame/roof section where the sunroof switches would be if you had a sunroof. Are you sure it didn't just break off and it looks like you need to glue it back?

Don't some modles come with the mirror mounted to the windshield? If not, yeah, just pull off the light cover and try screwing it back into place.

this isn't about the rx-7. I was just surfing this section and was pretty sure they were just generic. Anyways it was for a mazda 626, which mounts on the windshield.

Try general automotive next time or atleast tell us what kind of car your talking about. That might help. I assumed 2nd gen since it is in the 2nd gen forum.
