yup
Yeah, porting is a big issue!!!!
We ported both my upper/lower intakes as well as the exhaust manifold. And of course, I have a large streetport on the engine.....Thats is where all the lost power is.....
I've been reading alot and it seems a healthy streetport, not even counting porting the intakes, will net you over %15 more power than the same goodies on a non ported tII..... just hersay, but I think that makes all the difference.....my car feels like a rocket after 5.5k.....killer top end of the revs power....
way different car from my stock tII before I blew it up....my power was good from like 3.5k-6.3-6.5k, but actually , it felt like it was loosing power a little before 6.5 k,
After the intake porting, and large streetport....my power band is still good @ 3.5k..... but it pulls like a bitch from 5k-7.5k.....

I have a new t2 motor so it's not gonna be apart to get streetported for awhile but how much power can I expect to gain from porting the upper and lower intake manifold without porting the motor??

"my street ported TII with a TO4B feels waaaaayyyyy better than the stock one, below 4k."
Thats true, im not saying a ported motor is slower down low.....mines definetly faster, but the power up top is so frieking huge, that it makes everything else seem so slow.

I have rode in jerks car a few times out at auto X, and it pulls pretty good. I am pretty surprised at the number. Very good steve. It always pulled good, and spooled fast. Get the rest of your stuff on there and bring us another dyno sheet.

For every person that says that a Mustang will give you 5% more, there's a person that will tell you a DynoJet gives 15% more.
A Mustang dyno is designed to simulate load placed on teh car by road friction, where a DJ is more free rolling. So, in theory, the DJ should show more hp. But that may not always be the case.
What that tells me, is that proper dyno set-up is cruicial to get 'accurate' hp numbers. And that its not too difficult to tweak they dyno to show a bit more hp. After all, big hp is what is going to make people come back for more.
