Dumping too much fuel when starting cold
Well, apprently, my car is still suffering this problem. After unflooding the car and changing the plugs, the car runs real good and starts right back up when it's warm. However, when the car sits for a while and gets cold, it just floods and doesn't start. The compression is really good at 120psi, injectors are fine, coil packs are fine, etc. RX-7 Store thinks it's Microtech. But I would like to get some of your inputs. Anyone have experienced this kind of problem before when everything seemed fine but the car just floods when cold? Any help would be grately appreciated. I really want to get the car going because my finals are over today and I wanna leave ASAP... my break is only 10 days long and I don't wanna waste any of it... flights are $800+, so that's not an option Thanks in advance...

Hmmm... all the work is being done by RX-7 Store, and they pulled and checked my injectors already... I assume they did but I will ask to make sure. Thanks for the input
Any more ideas? Keep them coming please!

Like I said, injectors have been checked and they are fine.
Yeah. They're trying to figure it out with Microtech... had been trying for last week or two but still couldn't get it figured out. My timings were way off, but that has been solved. It just won't start when cold.

I need more help please. I can't find the procedure to unflood my car if that is even what it is. I tore up my transmission over the winter. I want to switch it from automatic to manual so I parked it to wait for spring. I went out to start it because I was worried about it sitting so long. It is one cold natured mother f-er. It started and stalled. Now it turns over really fast like it has no compression or something?. It won't start at all! Help!!!!!!!!!! I am new to the rotory world and now I am lost...

To unflood, remove the spark plugs and crank the motor for a while and let the fuel evaporate. Then put new spark plugs in because yours are probably fouled from flooding, and try starting the car.
My problem is GONE now!!! I'm so happy but I just took a flight home since my dad was willing to pay for the ticket Well, now only tuning, installing DTSS eliminators and new motor mounts are left. I'm picking up the car when I go back to OH Can't ******* wait!!! It's been 3 ******* months!!!
Oh, and the problem was with the Microtech, and it seems like RX-7 Store figured it out.
I'm driving a rental Dodge Neon while I'm in VA, BTW... what a piece of ****!!!

Aftermarket ecu = cranking maps
I dont' know jack about the Mircotech, but cranking injector time is always a potential culprit. Most use a scale linked to coolant temp.....add one vote for that one.
Here are my pfc setting - for what it's worth:
80c - 12ms
50c - 17.3 ms
30c - 32 ms
10c - 59ms
-10c - 87.2ms
-30c - 104.2ms
Of course, I'd be surprised if anyone was thinking of turning over their 7 in -10c weather, so those numbers might never come into play.
Hope that helps.
