The final video is the best one. Its with the windows down and my wife videoing. I had to back out of it in 3rd gear though, because I was coming up on some houses. I'd hate to have someone back out of a drive way in front of me, or a pet dart out onto the road or something like that. But anyways, I hope he posts it for me. If not, I'm shure someone else will hook us up guys. Later, CJ

Mmmmm...yummy, so smooth so tasty. I really like the sound of that beast there. I can only imagine the car totally done up with the duals on it. Dear God...

is your car stockport? I'm wondering about the mazdatrix true dual on a streetported 6 port 13b, I have seen some people say that its great on stock port cars, but not on ported. And I'm wondering if they mean intake, or both intake and exhaust ports
Thanks
Thanks

Node, my car has a mild street port in it. I'ver heard lots of false claims about a TD exhaust....they are extremely loud, annoying at cruise, and don't work well with a ported engine etc. etc. I yet to see anyone make more power than me..I've seen dyno sheets that where close, but they where on a dynojet vs my mustang. I"m not saying that there is'nt faster cars out there, or someone making more power than me(48IDA/standalone would for shure.), I'm just saying, that alot of people have said a single out flows a true duel, but have'nt backed it up. Ok....I"m getting off my soap box once again. CJ

A car that I'm looking at tonight is a 87 w/ a streetported intake, no exhaust porting, which is why I wondered about this. I would love to get the true dual exhuast, although its expensive as all hell. Good thing intake mods are cheap as dirt ![Big Grin](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Buy myself an air compressor and a grinder and I've paid for just about everything needed besides some scrap metal, cone filter, and spare intake which should be cheap.
Anyways, thanks.
And do you have a list of your mods and how much rwhp do you make? Just curious what I have to beat

At my cars peak (Its now detuned.) it was putting out 167rwhp on a mustang dyno. Comparable to about 180-183ish rwhp on a dyno jet. My mods where, Dual 2" manderl bent exuast (True duel), Removed double throttle, and coolant flow to TB. Ported black elbo before TB. Ported upper, middle, and lower intake manifold. Pineapple Racing 6 port sleeves with removed 6 port actuating rods and rods through the sleeves. An extremely mildly ported 13B built by Pineapple Racing. Jacobs ignition wires, Short shift kit, with FD shift ****, T2 fuel pump, Hi-6. and a Apex S-AFC. light weight steel flywheel. CJ

To clarify the porting do's and don'ts with the true duals, stock ports work great, mild porting works good too. It is more extreme porting that doesn't like it. Many people do a streetport by just closing the intake later but leaving the opening the same. I would classify this the way the aussies do as a "mild" port. Others open and close the intake later as well as the exhaust ports also. This would be in my opinion an "extend" port. The larger porting would not be ideal with the true duals. Mild porting along the lines of the available porting templates for the T-II housings and the 6 port housings is fine. They don't change it all that much. The key is in the amount of port overlap between intake and exhaust. If you were to do the duals on even a small bridgeport, you would lose power. Don't even think about it on any more wild styles. I am still a fan of the collected systems because on MY car they make more power due to my porting style. However I am fabbing up a true dual right now for a friend with a stock ported engine and this should give him the most power. They are only loud if you build it that way and they don't work well with some porting styles.
