The tranny seal is simple. remove exhaust, remove the driveshaft, get a small screwdriver and a mallet, and insert the screwdriver between the seal and the tranny. Pry. Repeat all around, and pop it loose. Grab a 2x4 and carefully pound the new seal on. Reinstall driveshaft and exhaust.+
Never done the pinion seal, but aside from getting the old one out, it doesn't look that hard. However, it appears that you first wantt o measure how much torque it takes to get the diff to rotate. You'll torque the locknut to that value on reassembly.
Maybe RETed or someone else can chime in, not sure if I have that right or not, the FSM is kinda vague.
